The Lonesome Train
Bask yourself in the pale moonlight (tonight)
Spread yourself in the cold fine sand (tonight)
Close your eyes and see the world (tonight)
Reach out and heal the broken hearts (tonight)
I have been lost for too long now
I miss the things I once held close
The end is getting near with each new day
Pack your bags and leave, let's not delay
Feel the warmth of the morning sun (today)
The noon breeze blows your thoughts away (today)
The velvet grass feels soft beneath your feet (today)
Run freely with the pure white clouds (today)
I awake at the sound of midnight
Finding myself alone with the silence
Nothing to cover the silent pain
No one to board this lonesome train
