Thoughts
My doings contradicts my sayings
My life is a contradiction speaking
The world still keeps revolving
Will I ever stop thinking?
Words that fail to retract,
propelled from within the filth
Dying for signs of contact,
thinking of who to love
They choose not to think anymore
They stop and ask, 'What for?'
For me I beg to differ
For thoughts are more than little
Give me each day my daily bread
for I've to keep my head well fed
Though God still brings new life each day
but memories of you continue to stay
My life is a contradiction speaking
The world still keeps revolving
Will I ever stop thinking?
Words that fail to retract,
propelled from within the filth
Dying for signs of contact,
thinking of who to love
They choose not to think anymore
They stop and ask, 'What for?'
For me I beg to differ
For thoughts are more than little
Give me each day my daily bread
for I've to keep my head well fed
Though God still brings new life each day
but memories of you continue to stay

See The Light
As I pull these shades over my eyes,
I disappear from the eyes of the world.
I lose attention of my peers,
I draw affection from my fears.
As I view the darkness from my eyes,
I appreciate the light I once loath.
I lose the courage to fight tears,
I draw affection from my fears.
Help me break the thick black velvet,
help me see the bright blue sky.
Please pull me out for just this once,
that at last I can face the light.
The gift to have the beauty of sight,
to see the manifestation of pure light.
